About Us

 Island Winery was started by Loren & Georgene Mortimer.  Dr. Georgene Mortimer is a professional winemaker and  has been making  award - winning wines with her husband Loren for years.

 Loren & Georgene also own  Westfall Winery  on a beautiful and rustic farm in Montague, New Jersey. 

Loren & Georgene visited and fell in love with Hilton Head Island.  After vacationing here for years, they finally settled here and brought their passion for fine wines along with them.
